Oaty Superfood Cleanser

This is super simple but it’s as effective as anything you’ll get on the high street, particularly for dry or sensitive skin. Soaking the oats prior to use turns the mixture into a lovely milky porridge. Oats have traditionally been used to treat dry
skin; they contain the avenanthramide class of antioxidants, which are effective anti-inflammatories, reducing redness and also protecting skin against UV damage. The nutrients in baobab improve skin elasticity and restore your complexion, rich as it is in vitamins A, C, D, E and F. The mixture will cleanse and nourish skin, removing dirt and grime at the end of a long day.

  • Oatmeal 2 tbsp
  • Baobab powder 1 tsp
  • Water 4 tbsp

Mix the ingredients together and leave for 30 mins prior to use

Use as a normal cleanser, rubbing in circular motions.

Wash off with warm water.

This makes one application, for a one-time use. You can use any superfood powder, why not try matcha or spirulina next time?
