Feel fantastic with a new 21-day eating strategy that brings amazing benefits for your energy, body and mind by getting your digestion in top form.

The gut is probably one of our most underrated organs, yet new research says it holds the key not only to overall health, but the secret to losing weight and feeling fantastic – it’s pretty exciting stuff.

When it comes to digestive health, think of your gut microbiome as your greatest health ally. The healthy bacteria within help you to digest food, protect you against pathogens, provide essential nutrients, enzymes and hormones and train your immune system. If it’s in balance you’ll experience good digestion, high energy, fewer illnesses, good mood and clear thinking.

Your gut also has the largest number of immune cells and the largest number of hormonal/endocrine cells in the body.

We’ve been given exclusive access to a brand new book – The G Plan Diet: The revolutionary diet for gut-healthy weight loss by Amanda Hamilton and Hannah Ebelthite, which is all about healing your gut, with recipes to get your belly flatter and happier by the end of three weeks. The G Plan is designed around three phases: Rest, Rewild and Rebalance. By following the daily menu plans and easy recipes and find you feel full, alert and energised throughout and notice weight loss benefits and less bloating.
Get ready

Planning and preparation are key. In terms of equipment, all you’ll need apart from the usual kitchen pots and pans is a blender or food processor. You’re going to be doing lots of cooking from scratch, which may feel time consuming at first if you’re not used to it. That’s why we’ve included plenty of recipes for batch cooking. Your dinner one evening becomes lunch the following day or a couple of freezer meals for future use. Stock up on a few BPA-free plastic containers for freezer storage and packed lunches, if you don’t already have some.

If you worry you’ll be tempted by foods that are ‘off plan’, like biscuits, cakes or crisps, don’t have them in the house. Give them away to a food bank or friend. If family members aren’t doing the G Plan and want to continue having them, keep them in a cupboard you don’t look in. Out of sight, out of mind.

The beauty of the G Plan is that it’s not a diet of restriction, rules and taking away. It’s about abundance. We want you to branch out, broaden your horizons, enjoy new foods and flavours and a more exciting, varied, natural diet. You’ll be surprised how quickly the positive effects appear.
